World second (?) Nidhogg EX kill by Solar FC of Exodus, cleared 6:20am PST / 9:20am EST June 7. Not 100% sure of other clear timings, but given that this is an EX primal, this was probably a minimally contested race.
Time to complete: 2:30 Job: Level 90 Reaper iLvl: 590 Food: Pumpkin Potage HQ Nidhogg's Akh Morn attack requires whatever shields & heals you've got access to, but even a DPS like Reaper can survive it easily now.

#FFXIV #BlueMage #BLU #NidhoggExtreme Mightier than the Horde achievement. Complete the Minstrel's Ballad: Nidhogg's Rage with a party of only blue mages, Silence Echo turned on, and Undersized Party turned off. The final phase was quite tricky with the bombs, but once we understood to stack together during that phase to bait the hysteria, it became smoother.

Nidhogg Ex Clear 6/10/2016. Fun fight and surprisingly easy compared to the relative difficulty of the previous two. I wouldn't mind pugging this one, while I have avoided pugs ever since the nightmare that was Thordan and randos.
(Not) My clearing run of The Minstrel's Ballad: Nidhogg's Rage, aka Nidhogg EX. For this run I'm in the OT role, picking up Nidhogg minions and occasionally the big, bad Wrym himself! Honestly, this run went a little *too* well this time! We managed to skip over two key phases, the second one (with the towers, tethers, and AOEs to dodge) was quite the headache... so I definitely recommend skipping it, too! Between that, maintaining DPS with the MT having a blue tether, and diamondbacking Hot Wing, I'd call this a solid Blue Mage EX Trial! Blue Mages are mightier than your average class! Is there anything they can't do?
Dancer may not be the most optimal job for unsynced solo content, but I love it so I wanted to do it anyway. A real warrior never quits! We are by no means "good" at ffxiv, so if we can do it, so can you! This took a lot of tries, like A LOT of tries, and we died very very many times, but we had a lot of fun while doing it! This was (obviously) our first ever success and it was definitely messy but in the end Nidhogg was dead and we (okay, just Toast) were alive and well.
