Gross anatomy The inferior alveolar nerve divides off the posterior division and descends posterior to the lingual nerve, deep to lateral pterygoid muscle and lateral to the pterygomandibular raphe, between the sphenomandibular ligament and the ramus of the mandible. It enters the mandibular foramen anterior to the inferior alveolar artery and vein. Just before entering the mandible, it gives of a motor branch, the nerve to mylohyoid. In the mandibular canal, the nerve gives off small twigs to the mandibular molar and premolar teeth. It then terminates in the mandibular canal by dividing into two branches: incisive nerve mental nerve #alveolarnerve #anatomyvideos #usmlevideos #anatomyofalveolarnerve #alveolarnerveanatomy #drgbhanuprakash #drgbhanuprakashanatomyvideos #usmlestep1videos #animatedmedicalvideos #anatomyanimatedmedicalvideos #mbbs #neetpg #fmge #inferioralveolarnerve #headandneckanatomy #inferioralveolarnerveanimation #inferioralveolarnerveanatomy

Alveolar Ventilation (Medical Definition) | Quick Explanation

What is Alveolar Ventilation? This video provides a quick overview and the medical definition of this topic. 💥Alveolar Ventilation [Full Guide] ➜ ➜ ➜ 🤍 ➡️ What is Alveolar Ventilation? It refers to the ventilatory process that takes place in the alveoli of the lungs. This is where the body is able to take in oxygen and remove carbon dioxide. Alveolar Ventilation can actually be calculated by multiplying the breathing frequency by the alveolar tidal volume per breath. The efficiency of alveolar ventilation relies on the amount of gases that reach the alveoli. And by gases, what I'm actually referring to is air. ➡️ For example: If alveolar ventilation increases, the lungs would remove too much CO2 causing the PaCO2 to decrease. This is known as hyperventilation and would result in an increased pH, which is known as respiratory alkalosis. The opposite is true if alveolar ventilation is decreased because, then, too much CO2 would accumulate in the body causing the pH to decrease. This is known as respiratory acidosis. 💥Alveolar Ventilation [Full Guide] ➜ ➜ ➜ 🤍 ————— 📗 BEST STUDY GUIDES FOR YOU ▪ TMC Test Bank 👉 🤍 ▪ Hacking the TMC Exam 👉 🤍 ▪ TMC Exam Bundle (Save $) 👉 🤍 ▪ Daily TMC Practice Questions 👉 🤍 💙MORE FROM RTZ ▪ Free TMC Practice Exam 👉 🤍 ▪ Free RRT Cheat Sheet 👉 🤍 ▪ Resources for RT's 👉 🤍 ▪ Testimonials 👉 🤍 🌐FOLLOW US ▪ Instagram 👉 🤍 ▪ Twitter 👉 🤍 ▪ Facebook 👉 🤍 ▪ Pinterest 👉 🤍 🚑MEDICAL DISCLAIMER Medicine and Respiratory Therapy are continuously changing practices. Alveolar bone, also called the alveolar process, is the part of maxillary and mandibular bone that forms the tooth socket. So let's discuss the basic structure of bone and correlate it with the structure of alveolar bone. 🙂🙂 Regards Dr. Sneha

Pulmonary Alveolar Microlithiasis (PAM) is an ultra - rare and complex lung disorder. Numerous microscopic fragments (microliths) of a compound called calcium phosphate gradually accumulate in the lungs' small air sacs (alveoli). These deposits eventually damage the alveoli and surrounding lung tissue, resulting in breathing difficulties (interstitial lung disease).  Approximately 1000 cases have been reported in the literature worldwide, with nearly 80 in India. At the moment, there is no medical or gene therapy available to treat this condition. Lung transplantation remains the only treatment option. Our recent success in treating a 47-year-old male, Mr. Venkataswara Rao, who underwent a Double Lung Transplant for advanced Pulmonary Alveolar Microlithiasis at Yashoda Hospitals Secunderabad. He is the first recipient to successfully complete the treatment process in the twin states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Inferior alveolar nerve block is the most commonly anesthetic technique used in dentistry. It is also of interest for anesthetists, as it could be used effectively to produce anesthesia and analgesia for many surgical procedures involving areas of its sensory distribution,. These areas include the chin , the lower lip and its mucous membrane , the body of the mandible and part of its ramus . The lingual nerve often gets anesthetised in the same block procedure due to its close proximity , producing anesthesia of the anterior two thirds of the tongue as well as the floor of the mouth.

This video will teach you the flap T sound /ɾ/. It is an alternative way of pronouncing the consonant sound /t/. When speaking naturally, the voiceless plosive /t/ can change into a voiced short flap against the alveolar ridge (= the bump just behind your top teeth). The result is a new sound: /ɾ/, called the flap T, flapped T or simply flap or tap. It occurs mostly in the English spoken in North America, Australia and New Zealand. In British English the voiceless /t/ does not usually change into a flap T. The flap T is therefore a prominent feature of an American pronunciation and you will hear it often in films and TV series from the US.
