Haval’s H6 mid-size SUV now includes a petrol-electric model to challenge the top-selling Toyota RAV4 Hybrid. Haval has just launched its first electrified model in Australia in the form of the 2022 Haval H6 Hybrid – a fuel-saving petrol-electric mid-size SUV that hands the fast-growing Chinese brand a rival for the popular Toyota RAV4 Hybrid. The H6 Hybrid has arrived in a single high-spec grade that’s jam-packed with creature comforts, high-tech equipment and advanced safety systems, yet doesn’t cost a bomb at $44,990 drive-away. It’s also backed by a seven-year/unlimited-kilometre warranty with five years’ roadside assist. But it’s biggest drawcard is the new hybrid powertrain, which combines a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine with an electric motor and battery to deliver a strong combined output of 179kW/530Nm and, importantly, relatively low fuel consumption of 5.2L/100km. The GWM Haval is not new to Malaysia, in fact there are a few H1's still running around and seem to be doing fairly well. And now with GWM on a resurgence in Malaysia, owners are able to get proper aftersales support But that's not the point here. During the recent launch of GWM's first ever 4S centre in USJ, Subang Jaya, we managed to get some wheel time with the new Haval H6, which is a hybrid model. It is not only a great looking car with a premium interior, but it also promises great performance and efficiency. I can see why you'd choose this over a Toyota RAV4. Time is all we have, so why waste it waiting for a new SUV? The GWM Haval H6 Hybrid could be the best alternative to the RAV4 for someone who wants a properly efficient midsize SUV with heaps of technology. The one problem Haval has is that the fuel consumption figures on its models are just too high, enter the H6 Hybrid. I mean it is so obvious, right? If you love the brand, love the value for money offering and love the cars, then the obvious thing would be to buy the one that also has a low fuel consumption. My advice to the naysayers, get your backside in to a Haval model and you will see what I mean when I say these are excellent products that offer more in terms of just about everything than most competitors. O GWM Haval H6 HEV tem preço de Toyota Corolla Cross Híbrido. Vale a pena? A configuração de entrada do H6 HEV (R$ 209 mil) se diferencia das versões mais caras no conjunto mecânico, mas o visual e a lista de equipamentos é a mesma da versão Premium Plugin (R$ 269 mil). Trata-se de um híbrido convencional, você não precisa se preocupar em colocar o carro na tomada pra carregar a bateria, assim como o Corolla Cross Hybrid (R$ 208 mil). Hey guys, so the H6 H6 Hybrid is a car I found very fascinating to review. The overall package is really a bargain and it gives a very high end vehicle to own, with some of the greatest tech. But the dilemma is always brand value, will you be able to settle for this over some of the German rivals like BMW, Audi, and Mercedes, but then again those are much more expensive, so if one decides to settle for one of this it would be an absolute good buy.
