The best beaches in Thailand are BY FAR Phra Nang Beach and Railay Beach in Krabi Thailand! As you can tell from the video, we fell in love with Phra Nang and its beautiful Cave Beach. At Phra Nang Beach there's princess cave or Phra Nang Cave which is a cave full of penises. We had a giggle and then learned about the history and mythology surrounding the cave. People say that there is competition but Phra Nang beach is by far the most beautiful beach in Thailand. If you are going to Phra Nang beach make sure that you take climbing gear because there is a huge cliff right next to Phra Nang cave that you can climb. Walking Railay Beach Krabi Thailand MOST BEAUTIFUL PLACE IN THE WORLD 2023 Railay Village is divided essentially into three distinct areas. It can only be reached by a long tail boat return 200 baht (15 minutes from Ao Nang beach). It is quite a compact area, so you can walk everywhere. Folk here are lovely, and it felt safe. Mother Nature blessed this area with the most amazing limestone cliffs. West Railay: beach is okay, bit rough with coral, and very tidal, so you have to walk a LONG way to get up to your knees. Sunset is good from here, and evening paddle boarding available. This is also the main entrance to any bars/restaurants East Railay: No beach, just mangrove swamps. This is where the pier is for day trips to other islands, and where most of the backpackers stay. Some great rock climbing if you are into that. Phra Nang Cave Beach: Sublime. Sand is like flour. Water is crystal clear and clean. They have jellyfish nets up so safe for swimming. There are a couple of swanky hotels on this side, but no bars/restaurants. Also, no loungers or vendors on the beach, so bring your own towels. You can also climb the limestone here. Phra Nang Cave Beach is a beautiful beach located on the Railay peninsula between Krabi town and Ao Nang. It is the most southern stretch of sand in Railay Bay with 450 meters in length and surrounded by deep emerald green turquoise water. The beach is easily recognizable by the imposing limestone rock sitting in the middle of the ocean. The beach is also home to Phra Nang Cave which has been dedicated to a princess goddess named Phra Nang. According to legend, Phra Nang was an Indian princess who was killed in a shipwreck. In another tale, Phra Nang was the wife of a fisherman who was lost at sea. Phra Nang Cave Beach is a popular tourist destination and attracts many visitors both Thai and foreigners during the daytime.

Phra Nang beach, one of the world’s most beautiful beach, is located in Railay, Krabi. So when you visit Thailand, make sure to have this place on your list of destinations. This video shows how beautiful the pathway is from Railay East (00:00) to Phra Nang Beach. The landscape of Railay East changes remarkably between low tide and high tide and it’s absolutely beautiful during high tide. After a short walk at the east side, you will find yourself walking next to a cliff. Halfway this path, there is a sign with “viewpoint”(5:15). From here you can climb to the Railay viewpoint or to the Princess Lagoon. I decided to walk further to the beach. The Phra Nang beach (8:35) is so picturesque that you won’t have enough of relaxing, swimming, and soaking up the sun. You can also make offerings to the princess Goddess (Phra Nang self). She is believed to live in the cave at one end of the beach. Towards the other end of the beach, right next to the rocks, is a small path that leads to the Bat Cave. Did you know that you can get freshly cooked food at Phra nang Cave Beach, which is located at the south of the more famous Railay beach in Krabi? The best thing is the food is cooked on a boat, and there are 4 boats spotted during our time there. To be honest, the food isn't great but it’s convenient if you are hungry while chillaxing and swimming at the beach. There is a wide variety of food available from the long-tail boat, from Thai food, fast food, kebab, BBQ, pancake to smoothies. We ordered Pad Thai, Stir-Fried Chicken with Basil, Pineapple Fried Rice, Banana Nutella pancake and coconut drink. a short boat ride from Krabi is the amazing Railay, only reachable by boat. and with its white sand, clear water and beautiful limestone cliffs, Phra nang is the best beach there.

Phra Nang Beach Cave is such a magical place. Not only is the water very clear, it also has beautiful caves where you can venture through and up and even take some time to climb up the caves. The legend says that fisherman would visit the cave and leave offering before going out to sea. The legend also says that when a fisherman does leave an offering that they would have a successful fishing trip, protect them from danger and help with fertility. We didn't go up to the shrine and it was a little ways off to the side of the cave and we were able to easily bypass it. The walk through to get to the other beach was about a 15 minuet walk, however if you don't pay attention then you can easily end up on the wrong side of the beach.
